            The case demonstrated that dealing with allegations of sexual harassment in the workplace is challenging. As a manager, there is need to address the issues of sexual harassment in a more sympathetic and fair manner to minimize the possibility of causing more emotional harm to the affected persons(Bennett-Alexander & Hartman, 2013). I will ensure that issue is given the confidentiality and privacy it needs, while encouraging the affected victim to honestly present facts as it happened. This very critical in establishing the truth and initiating the appropriate action to take against the perpetrator.

            To minimize the damage and give the attention it deserves as well as protecting the integrity of the company, I will immediately take the necessary action upon receiving the allegation. This also give assurance to the victim that the allegation of sexual harassment or any other form of harassment or discrimination in the workplace is taken seriously, regardless of the person marking the allegation.

As part of the company policy regarding any form of discrimination and harassment, each employee will be issued with a written policy that contain detail procedure of dealing with all the allegations(Bennett-Alexander & Hartman, 2013). By ensuring that the policies are in place, the potential perpetrators are at least deterred and potential victims are protected, and in case an attempt occurs, the victims are free and willing to report.

It is also important to provide the employee with the necessary training regarding the appropriate way to deal with sexual harassment. It is necessary to make all the employees to understand that sexual harassment or any other form of harassment and discrimination is not tolerated in the workplace. The training should be designed to highlight details and procedures of reporting grievances, while at the same time strongly condemning any form of harassment within the workplace. It is important to emphasis the severity of consequence of such behavior if the allegation is proved to have indeed occurred.
