Ensure that there is congruency between the current facility needs and such long-term organizational issues as regulations, capital requirements, human resources and market size. This is achieved through a clear analysis. The clear analysis leads to effective decision making.
In deciding whether to renovate or replace a healthcare facility, it is important to determine whether it offers value-based healthcare to maximize patient satisfaction. This is because patient satisfaction is at the core of revenue and capital investment. It is also important to consider the services offered, the population size, workforce requirements and government regulations(Gonzalez, 2019).
