Please describe the car accident that happened to me a few month ago. I was driving my SUV and a sedan in front of me made a sharp uturn without any turn signal. It happened so fast that my car hit theirs. The street was a narrow street surrounded with buildings left and right. They claimed they were making a left turn but I provided the pictures showing that there was no way they could since their left side was not an intersection it was an apartment building. not even a driveway. I was driving 20 mph and the impact was minor however the arbitrator decided that it was only my fault for not keeping enough distance, despite the picture and verbal recordings they faund me at fault. Most accidents, in the highways and restricted areas that emanate from making u-turns result from hasty driver decisions to make u-turns in the traffic. Whendrivers attempt or make u-turns, they are not only risking the lives of other drivers, but they also put their lives at risk. This is so, if they make u-turns in the wrong place or doing it in the wrong manner. The reason why u-turns are dangerous is that they are unexpected and does not allow time for a moving vehicle to change its course and prevent an accident. In order to make a u-turn, it requires a street that is wide enough to allow the driver to complete his/her maneuver and proper turn signals from the driver. While I was driving my SUV in a narrow street surrounded by buildings on both sides, a sedan vehicle in front of my car made a sudden u-turn without any turn signal.
