Introduction

            The journey of Adolf Hitler started in Austria where his father brought him up with a iron feast. Hitler moved to Munich, Germany to seek refuge when he realized that the Austrian authorities was after him for evading compulsory military service. Prior to this, Hitler was interested in pursuing art but he didn’t qualify to joint art school. Until 1918, Hitler was not known by many but her fame gained attraction steadily(Duiker, 2015). Hitler become the 55th member of the German Workers’ Party in September, 1919 and the following year, he with other party members changed the name of the party to be National-sozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei(NAZI). During this period, most Germans were discontented with severity of the peace terms and were resentment at the loss of the war. Therefore, the conditions favored the development of NAZI and through these Hitler was able to rise to became a dictator.

            Analysis showed that a close to a million Germans had joined the Nazi party by 1932 and Hitler thought it was the right time to vie for president in 1933. Although he lost the election, he was elected the chancellor because the president was unable to form Government(Brower & Sanders, 2014). This was the perfect platform for Hitler to unleash his dictatorship skills through public speeches. He was able to persuade millions of Germans into believing in his ideologies. One of the greatest speeches of Hitler was “The Proclamation to the German Nation”. Hitler was gifted with skills of public speaking and commanding authority.
