Introduction
Nursing care model is described as a methodology that nurses adopt in their practice to provide nursing care. According to Finkelman et al. (2012), “Nursing practice models have been used to implement resource-intensive strategies with goal of decreasing expense and using staff more effectively.” There are various nursing care models that are utilized in today’s health care setting such as case management model, complementary model, care service team nursing model, primary nursing model, team nursing model, functional nursing model and total patient care model(Finkelman, 2012).
