For this task you will need to write an essay comparing and contrasting two (2) models of counselling in relation to the following elements:
the role of the counsellor
the specific techniques associated with each model
the advantages and limitations of each model
Your essay needs to include use of current literature and relevant theory (minimum five academic references).
You may choose from the following list of counselling models:

NB: This essay requires you to compare and contrast each of the elements outlined above for two different models of counselling in an
integrated way. For example, it is not sufficient to simply outline the role of the counsellor in Person-Centred Therapy, followed by the
role of the counsellor in the Psychodynamic Approach. You are required to explicitly compare and contrast how their roles are similar
or different from one approach to the other
