Stereotyping is a phenomenon that has affected every society in the world in one way or another. The most common form of stereotyping in American society is racial and ethnic discrimination and the minority communities i.e. African American and Mexican Americans have suffered the most. As a result, these two communities have negatively suffered from stereotyping to an extend that some members of the community feel ashamed to be associated with their culture and traditions.
