Why are the instructional activities that you have planned appropriate for students at your grade level?

Whether you are a teacher, administrator, or in a position, that supports teaching and learning, all educators need to understand the teaching and learning process as it relates to lesson planning. For example, you might select the mathematical concept of measuring perimeter, but not the whole set of concepts related to polygons in geometry. Or, you might select the concept of identifying the main idea in a reading passage, but not the whole set of concepts related to reading comprehension.

4.Grade Level (K-12, adults)
5.Introduction that includes the central focus of the lesson
6.Rationale
7.Objectives with specific thinking skills and content as it relates to student learning.

b.Incorporate instructional strategies based on constructivist views of learning.
c.Incorporate instructional strategies that appropriately integrate instructional media in the teaching and learning process.
10.Materials
11.Evaluation/Assessment (Use multiple strategies to modify for diverse students: English Learners (ELs), Gifted Students, Students with Special Needs. Include necessary rubrics. Include necessary rubrics for assessment along with your lesson plan.
12.APA Bibliography (include in-text citations throughout the lesson plan)

Respond to these questions, drawing upon the Woolfolk text. Each response should be in essay format and contain one to two paragraphs. If other sources are used, please cite them in your references.

Why are the instructional activities that you have planned appropriate for students at your grade level? Explain how you compared instructional activities to choose the ones you found most appropriate.
How do your instructional strategies, assessment activities, and classroom management strategies support student motivation?

Psychology professionals to inform groups or individuals of the assessments appropriate for their current needs

Psychological Assessment Report

A psychological assessment report is created by psychology professionals to inform groups or individuals of the assessments appropriate for their current needs. This type of report also includes a summary of the services provided to these groups or individuals. This evaluation is used by the various entities to assess basic needs, competencies, preferences, skills, traits, dispositions, and abilities for different individuals in a variety of settings.

Psychological reports vary widely depending on the psychology professional creating it and the needs being assessed. Some of the psychology professionals who create this type of report include counselors, school psychologists, consultants, psychometricians, or psychological examiners. This type of report may be as short as three pages or as long as 20 or more pages depending on the needs of the stakeholders. Many reports include tables of scores that are attached either in an appendix or integrated into the report. Despite the many variations in assessment reports, most include the same essential information and headings.

Students will choose one of the personality assessment scenarios from the discussions in Weeks Two, Three, or Four to use as the basis of this psychological assessment report. Once the scenario has been chosen, students will research a minimum of four peer-reviewed articles that relate to and support the content of the scenario and the report as outlined below. The following headings and content must be included in the report:

The Reason for Referral and Background Information
In this section, students will describe the reasons for the referral and relevant background information for all stakeholders from the chosen personality assessment scenario.

Assessment Procedures
In this section, students will include a bulleted list of the test(s) and other assessment measures recommended for the evaluation of the given scenario. In addition to the assessment(s) initially provided in the personality assessment scenario from the weekly discussion, students must include at least three other measures appropriate for the scenario.

Immediately following the bulleted list, students will include a narrative description of the assessments. In the narrative, students will examine and comment on the major theoretical approaches, research methods, and assessment instruments appropriate for the situation and stakeholder needs. In order to defend the choice of recommended assessments, students will evaluate current research in the field of personality theories and provide examples of how these assessments are valid for use in the chosen scenario. For additional support of these recommended assessment measures, students will evaluate the standardization, reliability and validity, and cultural considerations present in these personality assessments that make them the most appropriate tools for the given scenario. Students will conclude the narrative by assessing types of personality measurements and research designs often used in scenarios like the one chosen and providing a rationale for why some of those assessments were not included.

General Observations and Impressions
In this section, students will describe general observations of the client during the assessment period provided in the chosen personality assessment scenario and explain whether the client’s behavior might have had a negative impact on the test results. Students will analyze and comment on how the APA’s Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct affected the implementation of the personality assessment during the initial process. Based on the observations and analysis, students will assess the validity of the evaluation and make a recommendation for or against the necessity for additional testing.

Test Results and Interpretations
In this section, students will analyze the results of the assessment provided in the chosen personality assessment scenario. Based on the score, students will interpret the personality factors (conscientiousness, openness, emotional stability, introversion, extroversion, work drive, self-directedness, etc.) that are present.

Note: Typically, this section reports test results and is the longest section of a psychological assessment report because the results of all the tests administered are analyzed and reported. Some psychologists report all test results individually, while others may integrate only a portion of the test results. However, in this report, only the assessment presented in the chosen personality assessment scenario will be included.

Summary and Recommendations
In this section, students will summarize the test results.  They will provide a complete explanation for the evaluation, the procedures and measures used, and the results and include any recommendations translating the evaluation into strategies and suggestions to support the client. Finally, students will provide any conclusions and diagnostic impressions drawn from the previous sections of the report

Describe patient-care technologies as appropriate to address the needs of a diverse patient population

Healthcare technology: Local, National, and Global Considerations

Imagine that you are a public health nurse, and you and your colleagues have determined that the threat of a deadly new strain of influenza indicates a need for a mass inoculation program in your community. What public health data would have been used to determine the need for such a program? Where would you locate public health data? What data will be collected to determine the success of such a program? How might you communicate this to other communities or internationally?

This week should be fun as you are thinking like a nurse to utilize your investigative processes! What would you do if you found a new strain that could potentially be a community health problem? As you are preparing for this post, ensure to think in terms of mode of transmission, vulnerable populations, and data needed etc. Using the information obtained to provide effective and timely communication is key!

Reminder: please utilize the Q&A Forum, or email me, if you have any questions or concerns. I am looking forward to our discussions.

ATTN: after you write your discussion, you will need to comment my classmate discussion that is below.

Hello Professor & Class

What public health data would have been used to determine the need for such a program?

For us to be able to determine if mass vaccination is needed, we would need to gather data available about the new strain of influenza disease. Since we know that influenza is spread by droplet. We would have to look at the population that it is having a bigger impact, the spread of it, and how contagious. This data could be retrieved from hospitals who are reporting new cases to the health department. EHR’s can help provide accurate surveillance of the disease process without breaking HIPPA when data is reported (McGonigle & Mastrian, 2018).

Where would you locate public health data?

I can locate data on the Department of Public Health across the country. In the state of Illinois, they received data from the Department of Public Health of any disease spread, and new cases of disease increase. They gather this from the hospitals because they are required to report this information. To surveillance this data in a timely manner and precise way we would have to look at different options. I research as to how they monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and I found out there is two techniques (CDC, 2021). One of them is called the aggregate count where the team divides into 2 groups. The first team collects information from jurisdictions website, which are credible websites. Then passed it on the team 2 for verification of information and sends it over to jurisdictions to confirmed accuracy and make corrections if need it and published it to the website. The second method is called the line-level data. A more detailed approach and is the second part to determine mass inoculation. They gather more information about the individuals that have died such as race, age, and ethnicity (CDC, 2021). They can note who is most at risk and mass inoculation is appropriate and who is it appropriate for.

What data will be collected to determine the success of such a program?

A way to collect the success of the program would be referring to the CDC once again, since the inoculation has been provided, they continue to aggregate count. We should be able to see the number of cases and deaths declining, which then would mean the effectiveness.

How might you communicate this to other communities or internationally?

We can communicate information to the locally and nationally by the news outlet, social media, radio. We can also print information into newspaper for individuals who do not own technology devices.
