In Unit VII of this course, you will submit a research paper concerning a leadership theory and how it is applied in the workforce. In the finished paper, you will evaluate leadership roles and strengths, analyze the leadership theory you chose, evaluate leadership behavior and motivation, analyze leader influence, analyze research in leadership, demonstrate how leadership skills are used, and compare and contrast how leadership approaches are used to lead organizational learning and change.
For this assignment, you will submit a literature review focusing on relevant literature related to your leadership theory and its application. Since we are focusing on communication and leadership theories in this unit, the literature you select for your literature review should cover the following topics:
Discuss how a leader’s personality traits are essential in adapting a leadership style.
Compare and contrast behavior attributes of your chosen leadership theory with a contingency leadership theory.
If your chosen theory is a contingency theory, compare and contrast your theory with another contingency theory. Explain effective communication strategies for leaders.
Your literature review should be at least two pages in length, not including the title and reference pages, which are required as part of this assignment. You are required to use at least four outside sources, three of which must come from the Online Library. All sources used, including the textbook, must be referenced; paraphrased and quoted material must have accompanying APA citations.
Conducting a survey within any organization is an essential examination and analysis process that provides insight into target markets, specific techniques and or data to make business decisions (Hiyari, 2021). Defining the population for a study involves two separate decisions: what unit to study, and the boundaries of the population (Displayr, n.d.). Commonly used units utilized within the population portion of this survey include, users, households, consumers, businesses, etc.. (Berkowitz, 2016). In this case the population assessment would be best made on family practitioners that are qualified during the current year within the region the survey is taking place.
A sampling frame is a database and/or list that can be used to identify quantitative and/or qualitative measures, which provide market research for a specific project, source and/or clientele (Sample Unit, n.d.). A data list and/or record of family practitioners that are associated to a national association in accordance with their geographic locations would be an appropriate suggestion within this case. A sampling unit within marketing research can refer to any type of person and/or thing that is being researched (Berkowitz, 2016). This sampling unit is more of a singular value within a database provided through research conducted (Sample Unit, n.d.). The specific geographic locations in this research example, would be appropriate for a sampling unit, as it offers sizes for grouping methods (Displayr, n.d.).
Peer 2
A sample is designed by collecting data from the target population which in this scenario would be the family practitioners who did not choose to specialize in pediatrics after graduation. The population is defined as “the entire group that you want to draw conclusions about” (Bhandari, 2020). The population for the practitioners that did not choose pediatrics as their specialty includes the family practitioners who were qualified to specialize in pediatrics nationwide but did not choose that specialty after graduating from American Academy of Pediatrics.
Sampling frames is a way to put all possible sampling units together and “the specific group of individuals that you will collect data from” (McCombes, 2022). In this scenario, there is no list of the family practitioners that did not specialize in pediatrics, but samples could be collected from the graduates of many medical colleges in a specific area and gather those samples as one to get a sampling frame. The sampling frame can also be done by accessing the practitioners that are a part of a national association such as American Academy of Pediatrics and determine those who did not choose pediatrics as their specialty in a certain geographical area.
The sampling unit is either an individual or a company sample, which in this case is newly graduated family practitioners who did not specialize in pediatrics after graduation. A sampling frame that can be used would be cluster sampling which “is a probability sampling method in which you divide a population into clusters, such as district of schools, and then randomly select some of these clusters as your sample” (Thomas, 2022)

Taking good notes while reading and during class is an important part of academic success in college. Effective notes can come in various forms, and different note-taking formats should be adopted for different types of texts and subjects. The goal of this assignment is to help you identify a note-taking system that works best for you based on your reading material and the course content.
Step 1: Start with an introduction (7-10 sentences) addressing these questions:
Why is note taking an essential learning skill for college students?
How can you use your notes to improve your academic performance?
Which note-taking format did you choose to complete this assignment? Why? How does this format match with your learning style(s) (i.e., VARK – Visual, Aural, Read/write, and Kinesthetic)?
Step 2: Choose a chapter (EXCEPT Chapter 2) and section (minimum of 5-10 pages) from the EDUC 1300 textbook for note taking. Then, decide which note-taking format you will use. Choose only 1 of the 6 options below to create 2-3 pages of notes:
Audio notes [Click HERE to learn how to create your notes. Click HERE (Links to an external site.) to watch a video showing how to record, upload, and submit media recordings in Canvas. You can also record your audio notes by using cell phones (Click HERE (Links to an external site.)), audio recording devices, Microsoft OneNote, etc.]
Step 3: Then, specify the title of your selected chapter and produce 2-3 pages of notes on a minimum of 5-10 textbook pages (Except Chapter 2). Do NOT write or record verbatim notes. If you decide to take written notes, do NOT simply copy and paste the phrases/sentences from the textbook straight into a document. If you decide to take audio notes, do NOT just read aloud the information from the chapter word for word. Instead, take written/audio notes COMPLETELY in your own words. Paraphrase and summarize the major ideas and supporting details of the chapter to demonstrate your understanding of the material.
If you decide to create vision board notes, you are required to record yourself presenting the vision board and explaining the notes in a detailed manner.
The set of notes created should be thorough, covering all major ideas and the supporting details of the chapter. Your written notes may be neatly handwritten or typed. If you would like to use another textbook to complete this assignment, prior approval from your instructor should be obtained. Grading is based on how detailed, comprehensive, and well-organized your notes are.
Step 4: Submit your work via the yellow “Start Assignment” button at the top right-hand corner. If you choose to create audio notes, you can have the option to record your introduction by verbally addressing the questions specified in Step 1. Then, mention the chapter title and continue to record your audio notes as specified in Step 3.
Everything that social workers do is an intervention; therefore, social workers develop treatment plans so that they can outline the purpose of treatment, assist in giving the client direction in the treatment process, allow the social worker to collaborate with the client, and help social workers and clients mark progress toward goals. Depending on where you work as a social worker, your funding source may be dependent upon your treatment plan.
In this Assignment, you develop a treatment plan for a client. In real practice, you should never create a treatment plan without conducting a more thorough assessment and then collaborating with the client to mutually agree on goals and steps to implement the plan. For the purpose of this Assignment, however, you explain how you might go about this process.
To Prepare
Watch the video case study found in the Learning Resources.
Then, consult the Learning Resources and/or go to the Walden Library to find information related to interventions for this type of client or problem.
Use this information to help develop an individual or family treatment plan for the identified client (Amy, Mrs. Bargas, or Bargas family) with whom you have chosen to work from the case study.
For help with this assignment, refer back to the Library recommendations in Week 3.
Helpful tip: Try other keywords including:
treatment programs
intervention
Try using the AND and OR connectors. For example:
drug addiction OR drug abuse OR substance abuse OR drug use
senior citizen OR older people OR elderly OR aging
intervention AND alcoholism
Learn more about AND, OR, and NOT (Boolean operators) in the guide below.

[MUSIC PLAYING]
LINDA FORTE: Hi, Mrs. Bargas, I’m Linda Forte, the social worker assigned to
your case. It’s nice to meet you. So what brings you in, today?
MRS. BARGAS: Well– I’ve been out of work about 3 months. And 2 weeks ago,
my husband had a stroke. He’s still in the hospital. So it’s been– a lot, all at once.
And the money– I don’t know how going to pay the bills, or the rent. We cannot
lose our home. We have five children.
LINDA FORTE: Has this been hard on them? It sounds like you’ve been going
through a lot since losing your job and your husband being in the hospital. I can
understand how you can feel stressed and concerned.
MRS. BARGAS: My daughter Amy– she’s my oldest– she’s been having the
hardest time. She’s cutting classes at school and she’s failing two of her courses.
LINDA FORTE: So how did you hear about our agency and how can I help?
MRS. BARGAS: Well, my pastor said that you could help me find a job and
maybe help with the rent money. And maybe Amy could– speak to somebody.
LINDA FORTE: OK. Has your daughter, Amy, has she ever expressed any
interest in hoping to speak to somebody about her problems?
MRS. BARGAS: Maybe. I don’t know. I haven’t really mentioned it to her. But my
pastor thinks it’s a good idea.
LINDA FORTE: Has Amy ever spoken to the social worker at her school, before?
MRS. BARGAS: No, I don’t think so.
LINDA FORTE: OK. That’s fine. We can definitely talk about getting Amy some
help. But first, why don’t we talk a little bit about work experience. What kind of
job are you hoping to find?
MRS. BARGAS: Well, before I married my husband, I worked as a nanny.
LINDA FORTE: OK. So why don’t we talk a little bit more about that, about who
you worked for, and what kind of job duties you had.
MRS. BARGAS: Well, I was much younger when I was a nanny. Let me see, it
was– more than 12 years ago. But I don’t think I could do that work, now. Maybe

Q1. It is essential to build a business plan that will enable room for growth and/or adjusting for necessary edits. Implementing a plan that allows the company to foresee changes on several levels. Strategic management processing tells us that it is smart business to allow for contingencies and provide employees with the necessary tools to accomplish their work. It is important to collect data properly. It is important that those in charge of leadership not dictate but rather it can be helpful to include those who work for the organization to share in decision making.

How do we make sure we don’t?
Q2. Change is neither good nor bad. It is inevitable. The outcome depends on how well you handle the situation when it occurs. One good method for managing change is to change your perspective about it. Think about differences in opinion about the change as an opportunity to grow and develop a deeper understanding of each other and the situation at hand.
How do we get around differences in opinion in management?

Does a risky investment always equal a big payoff and vice versa? What does it mean to be a risk-averse versus a risk-taker? What types of information must be considered when it comes to risk and return? Explain. Your response must be at least 200 words in length.
In nursing practice, accurate identification and application of research is essential to achieving successful outcomes. The ability to articulate research data and summarize relevant content supports the student’s ability to further develop and synthesize the assignments that constitute the components of the capstone project.
The assignment will be used to develop a written implementation plan.
For this assignment, provide a synopsis of the review of the research literature. Using the “Literature Evaluation Table,” determine the level and strength of the evidence for each of the eight research articles you have selected. The articles should be current (within the last 5 years) and closely relate to the PICOT question developed earlier in this course. The articles may include quantitative research, descriptive analyses, longitudinal studies, or meta-analysis articles. A systematic review may be used to provide background information for the purpose or problem identified in the proposed capstone project.
While APA style is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and in-text citations and references should be presented using APA documentation guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.
This assignment uses a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.
