            Although there is a significant improvement in healthcare in the United States, there remains a disparity in healthcare across cultures. According to (Major, Mendes & Dovidio, 2013) health among disadvantaged groups defined by race, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, citizen-immigration status and ethnicity, have poor health compared to those from higher social groups.
