Responding to the case studies in this course requires critical thinking. Country ID is the country identifier. Year denotes the year when the Olympics games were held. Real GDP is the Real Gross Domestic Product of country in billions of dollars. Population is the number of people living in country in millions of people. Total Medals in the sum of gold, silver and bronze medals won by country. Host Country is a dummy variable that takes the value 1 if the country is hosting the Olympic Games and takes the value 0 if the country is not hosting the games. Planned Economy is a dummy variable that takes the value 1 if the country is a planned economy (or was a planned economy in the past), and 0 otherwise.

Nursing care model is described as a methodology that nurses adopt in their practice to provide nursing care. According to Finkelman et al. (2012), “Nursing practice models have been used to implement resource-intensive strategies with goal of decreasing expense and using staff more effectively.” There are various nursing care models that are utilized in today’s health care setting such as case management model, complementary model, care service team nursing model, primary nursing model, team nursing model, functional nursing model and total patient care model(Finkelman, 2012). Each of this nursing care models is utilized with the objectives of increasing effectiveness and efficiency of the service delivery. Different health care setting have adopted different nursing care model based on the challenges that faces the health care institution.
For example, the unit I work have adopted interdisciplinary care model or complementary care model.
