Introduction
Photosynthesis is defined as the process through which plants as well as other photosynthetic organisms absorb light and transforms the light into forms of chemical energy such as carbohydrates that can be stored in the plant. The transformation of light into carbohydrates is facilitated by chlorophyll found in the leaves of the plant. Cellular respiration on the other hand is the process through which plant cells convert stored glucose into energy. This experiment seeks to establish a correlation between photosynthesis and cellular respiration.
Hypothesis
The level of cellular respiration largely depends on the level of photosynthesis of the plant.
