The development of a good problem statement and a research proposal is the beginning of a research process. The most important part of a research process is determining the evidence to use in the study. This is because the validity of the research findings depends on the credibility of the research evidence used in the research process. Credible research evidence is the one that uses the best latest research with scientific backing. In conducting the literature review, credible evidence could include sources such as published polices, models or theories that are in use in practice, and research that has been published and reviewed by peers of the author.
